Two local nurseries are ready to welcome children back for the Autumn intake following closures during lockdown.

Accord Childcare Oxley was closed during lockdown whilst Accord Childcare Bushbury remained open to provide childcare for key workers and vulnerable children throughout the pandemic. Both branches, which are located on opposite sides of the Stafford Road in Wolverhampton, have since reopened with new and existing faces welcomed for the start of the new term on 2nd September.

Laura Nicholls, Nursery Manager at Accord Childcare Bushbury said: “We’re delighted the children are returning to nursery after such a long time away– we’ve missed you all so much!. It will be fantastic to see how much they have grown over the last few months and to also welcome some new children into our setting.”

The reopening of the nurseries, both rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted, is expected to be welcomed by local parents, many of whom have been working from home whilst trying to juggle their own childcare needs.

Hellen Craddock, Nursery Manager at Accord Childcare Oxley added: “Our teams have been working hard over the last few weeks to ensure everything is safe for the children to return. Whilst things may be a little bit different since the last time we saw you, we are working continuously to ensure that everyone is kept safe and happy.”

Accord Childcare provides 106 nursery places for local children and offers both private and funded places. For more information visit: http://bit.ly/AccordChildcare
